Denver

Oct 2020

We found an older home (we LOVE older homes) located between Cheesman and Washington parks near downtown Denver. This Airbnb was also close to the Denver Zoo, so it was the perfect spot.

While Danielle was out of town we filled up most of our days at the parks. Cheesman is a good sized park with a large structure for the kids to play hide and seek. It wasn’t until we left the park that we realized that there was a playground that we missed. Washington Park’s playground is just fantastic. There are several playgrounds for all the ages and it has a section for biking over mini hills for the little ones. Bonus: on the weekends there’s a mobile barista from the DNVR Coffee Co. Yes please!

We spent almost an entire day at the Denver Zoo. Donnie got to meet up with some of his former co-workers and the kids loved seeing snakes, elephants, and seals. And of course we couldn’t leave until all 4 kids got a new toy.
