Kids’ Toys
We are huge Woom bike fans. All of our kids started on balance bikes and were able to skip the training wheels stage when learning to pedal. We first purchased a Woom balance bike for Milo in 2019 but he soon graduated to a pedal bike 6 months later when he turned 4 years old. So our Woom bike became Pax’s. We’ve taken this bike everywhere with us - Utah, Colorado, Hawaii, & New Zealand. It’s been on top of volcanoes, in the snowy Colorado Rockies, and in Hawaiian waterfalls and beaches. We would’ve purchased the entire family a Woom bike but at the time we needed them there was a bike shortage due to Covid and we were unable to find any!
Magna-tiles are a Jones Family Favorite! We first ordered some of these as a Christmas present when the twins were just 4 years old in 2016. This is probably the last toy we’d depart with. We bring them when traveling and the kids just never tire of building something new every time we get them out. They are great for babies and even we as parent enjoy building with them.
LEGO is another Jones Family Favorite! You’d be hard-pressed to find anyone that doesn’t enjoy playing with LEGO. We usually introduce Duplo (and the non-LEGO brand Mega Bloks) when the kids are 1-3 years old and then start with standard LEGO at 4+.
