Crested Butte

After Christmas we visited another Colorado ski resort in Crested Butte. We had heard from locals in Telluride that it can get very cold in Crested Butte, but we were ready for the challenge.
We found a home just a short walk from skiing and took advantage of the location almost every day.
Some days did get very cold, but with our warm base layers and insulated jackets we were able to spend a lot of time outdoors. We even built a slide in the backyard!
The girls became very good skiers. Amelia especially loved skiing and was on the slopes almost every day. Milo is getting pretty good and will probably be able to tackle greens himself next season. Pax makes it about two times down the magic carpet runs before he’s done!
On the days that it was just too cold or blizzard-like conditions we stayed indoors for some screen time and yoga!
We did decide that - although we loved the snow and skiing - we aren’t big fans of spending almost the entire winter in it. We decided it was time to head back to Texas for a bit and figure out how we’ll continue on our adventure.
